With the State of the economy as it currently is, would you consider self publishing?
What are the pros and cons into self publishing. It seems to me that more and more people are considering this route. Have you considered it or are you doing it or have you done it ?

First can I say what an amazing amount of information to chew over.
Some things just jump off the page, like David's advice to invest in a "Sack Barrow"
Visions of J.K.Rowling pushing a barrow load of "Harrry Pottter " books printed with some dodgy chinese printer into a Mall.
Bumping into Jeffrey Archer with his empty Barrow on his way out to his white Ford van to load up with more of his new self published "Nott a Pennny More, Nott a Pennny Lesss"
Getting the masterpiece back and then discovering a slew of mistakes would be a heart breaker.
And the wife saying "That first order for 10,000 was a bit optimistic dear"
Another thing that struck me was the sheer terror the family will go through as Birthdays and Xmas get closer knowing that yet another signed first edition
master piece from Uncle Frank "The Writer" will again be dropping through the letterbox.
Ah well I suppose its all grist for the mill and fuel for the fire;D*
