Submitting

Is it possible to submit the first three chapters of your book despite the fact that you haven't actually finished writing the book? I know where my book is going and I know the ending. I have the chance to submit my work, but I am not sure if I should. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Mary, don't... Suppose the recipient saw the first three chapters, and asked for the full submission? You'd have to come clean and I can almost certainly guarantee they would not be happy - unless your writing was so staggeringly good, they'd be prepared to wait. Or... submit the three chapters and then lock yourself in your room for the next week and actually finish the book! Good luck, whatever you decide!

Wait until you've finished. You might know how your book is going to end, but the more the right the more that can change.
