Are you an author or illustrator seeking literary agent representation? Our range of Listings subscription products gives you access to the ultimate database of publishing industry contacts including circa 1,400 publishers, 750 newspapers and magazines, 300 literary agencies, 110 self-publishing providers and 940 societies, prizes and festivals, and many many more. All of this data is searchable by category, keyword and genre tags, while you can also save searches and annotate entries.

This information is collated and updated annually by the team of editors responsible for producing the latest editions of our bestselling Yearbooks... and in Agent Pages we have an exciting, online-only extension to our database. So what's new?

  • What is Agent Pages?
An Agent Pages subscription is the perfect resource for writers and illustrators who are ready to research and identify agents to query for representation, and provides access to the detailed profiles of over 500 literary agents (collated and updated, once again, by the Yearbook editorial team). By filtering based on information specific to your manuscript – such as the the format, target market and genre in which you're writing – writers and illustrators will instantly receive search results that contain detailed profile information for each agent listed (including what they're looking for, what they're not looking for, the number of clients they represent, submission guidelines and contact information). Meanwhile, clickable genre tags also mean an appropriate list of alternative agents to consider is just a click away.

  • Sounds great! How can I access Agent Pages?
Agent Pages is an additional tier to our database of contacts, and only available for purchase by anyone with a current 'core' Listings subscription. These are:

WAYB: all the contacts from the Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook
CWAYB: all the contacts from the Children’s Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook
WAYB+: all the contacts from both Yearbooks

Each of our core subscriptions is updated annually by our team of Yearbook editors, with 12-, 6- and 3-month subscription lengths now available.

Once a core subscription is in place, an appropriate Agent Pages subscription can then be added to your account. 12-, 6-, 3- and 1-month subscription lengths are available.

  • How much do these subscriptions cost?
As well as prompting us to offer greater choice when it comes to subscription lengths, the introduction of Agent Pages was also a catalyst for change in terms of our pricing structure, and our unrivalled database of publishing industry contacts is now even more affordable than before. For example, pricing starts at just £11.10 for a 3-month subscription to our CWAYB core subscription product, with an accompanying 1-month Agent Pages subscription priced at just £2.80. Features

Here's a reminder of the functionality our Listings subscribers can expect. All subscribers are able to:

  • search by keyword
  • filter and sort to further refine search results
  • click on genre tags to be directed to an appropriate list of suggested alternative entries
  • bookmark and annotate entry pages

And now to the new features brought in alongside the addition of Agent Pages.

  • If you're searching within Literary Agencies, answering some top-level questions about the format, target market and genre in which you're writing will help refine your search. e.g. ‘Writing for adults' > 'Fiction > Historical’ or ‘Non-fiction > Travel’

    Agencies - filter

  • Agent Pages subscribers can further research and identify literary agents likely to be interested in offering representation. Begin filtering over 500 literary agents by telling us a bit about the format, target market and genre in which you're writing.

    Agents - filter

  • As well as detailed profile information for each agent listed (what they're looking for, what they're not looking for, the number of clients they represent, submission guidelines and contact information), clickable genre tags mean you subscribers are never far from an appropriate list of alternative suggestions as they continue in their search for representation.

And these clickable tags have been carried across to Literary Agency pages, too. A 'Meet the Agents' section has been added to each literary agency page, allowing Agent Pages subscribers to click through to individual agent pages.
