National Novel-Writing Month is nearly here. You've cleared the diary for November, limbered up the keyboard (or pens). You're busting to write.

NaNoWriMo

Now what? Any last-minute questions?

On Monday 28th October from 5pm-6pm, I'll be the Writers & Artists tweep in residence, ready to answer any questions you have about taking part in NaNoWriMo - and hopefully getting your 50,000 words written!

How do you keep to your schedule?

What if you get stuck?

What if your imagination runs away with you and you deviate from your plan?

What plan?! Do you really need one and is it too late to write one now?

Is it possible to write a good book so fast?

Is it possible to write that much so fast?!

I've had more than a dozen novels published that were written to short deadlines. I've coached authors through writer's block and helped them develop workable writing routines. I know the tricks that can help you keep going - and I know how to turn the raw material of a fast-written draft into a publishable manuscript.

I'm also a self-publisher and literary novelist and I don't mind chatting about those either…

To get in touch, just tweet @Writers_Artists or @NailYourNovel with your question, include the hash-tag #NaNoPrep and I'll do my very best to answer.
