This is the final time you'll be blogging for us before it's all over.  How are you feeling?

NaNoWriMo

I feel as if I am in a running marathon and my steps and strides are not quite so swift.  I'm trying to think of the crowds who would be there along the road, urging me to keep going fast.  I need a little cooling on my forehead, and gusts of wind from the back to keep running fast.

The emotional sensibilities of your characters seem interesting.  In your last blog, you talked about making them suffer more to benefit the story.  Have you worked on that this week?

Yes, there have been dramatic events which have occurred and have yet to be solved or resolved.  Some of the other characters are in a darker world.  Although my protagonist already had sensibility by the very nature of her profession, the events have been such she has been re-active and not pro-active.  I plan for her to be more pro-active.

Your biggest triumph this week:

As mentioned before, I wondered how my romance and mystery would mix with my story plan.  I really enjoyed the combination, which adds depth and layers (and fun as the writer).

And the bit that has made words harder to come by:

Not in week three, the words flowed effectively.

Talk to us about your ending.  Are you excited to be writing it?  What's the biggest challenge you think you're going to need to overcome to get there?

The resolution or not of the story, as the role of some of my lesser characters changed somewhat from my original perception of them.  This aspect is actually a theme of my story plan.  This will not affect the ending but is going to present a challenge to get there.

NaNo in a nutshell (week three):

It still felt as good as weeks one and two.  I had lots of enthusiasm to get my words onto paper.
