Romance
Your book centres on the development of a relationship between central characters. Examples of romantic fiction have been produced by Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte and Nicholas Sparks, while Mills and Boon are a publisher synonymous with romance novels. If you're writing erotic fiction then your narrative will be driven more by the sexual relationship between your characters. Notable writers of erotic fiction are Anne Rice, EL James and Sylvia Day.
