For some reason seeing all these tattoos surprised me. It brings a whole new level of commitment to reading books and loving literature:

I've often thought about getting a tattoo but never found a design which appealed 100%, that I knew I'd be happy with and never tire of. What about you? If you were to get a literary tattoo, what would you get? Or maybe you already have one... go on, do tell.

I don’t believe any literary achievement, no matter how great, merits altering a person’s natural physical form. Also, partly for the health risks they pose, I’m simply not into tattoos. If I were however, it would likely be on my arm:
Carl Sagan’s famous phrase and title of his book ‘Billions & Billions’ beneath the design of a live oak (quercus virginiana) tree with a golden fleece in one of its branches, inspired by ‘The Golden Bough’ written by Sir James Frazer.
