Writing Picture Books with Michelle Robinson

Monday 30th September 2.30-5.30pm

Join bestselling author Michelle Robinson for a masterclass on writing picture books. Bring along your ideas and get advice on developing great storylines, strong characters and perfecting your structure.

Come along to hear more about Michelle’s journey and get advice and tips to sharpen your technique and gaining more confidence to let your imagination fly.

Writing Middle Grade with Lucy Strange 

Tuesday 1st October 2.30-5.30pm

If you’re writing fiction for children ages 8 – 12, join Lucy Strange as she guides you through the essential elements of the writing process. From tips on crafting characters to insider advice on weaving the perfect plot, Lucy will share knowledge from her own publishing journey to help you go away inspired and ready to make your stories sing.

My Editor & Me: Liz Green & Julia Cross

Tuesday 1st October 6.30-7.30pm

Come and hear Liz Cross – Children’s Publisher at Oxford University Press – in conversation with award winning author Julia Green. They’ll talk about the ups and downs of the editorial process from manuscript to publication and discuss the author’s creative process. This promises to be an insightful and inspirational event for authors and aspiring writers alike.
