Young Adult (YA)

YA fiction can cover any genre but is written for an audience that ranges between 12 and 18. Your language and the experiences of your main characters must be in keeping with what's appropriate for your target reader. Authors of popular YA titles include JK Rowling, Malorie Blackman and Frances Hardinge.
