Working From Home - Good or a bad thing?

Hi All

Has anyone else found that since working from home their writing output has increased or decreased. Now I have a home office I've found I'm writing more regularly during the evenings after logging off from work.

Would be interested to hear your views.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,

That is great to know! Personally, I've found it quite difficult to get back into a regular writing routine although I don't think I ever had one in the first place. I used to write a lot on my phone during my commutes, so I need to find a good replacement for that.

I would love to have one day a week that is totally clear for me to write!

All the best for your regular writing :)

Thanks Clare. I have to admit I am a serial procrastinator and usually getting to my home desk to tap away proves to be challenging but what I do now is just put the work laptop away and immediately fire up my writing laptop for an extra hour. Besides, if I can do the sometimes mind-numbing 9 to 5 work, doing that hour of the work I would love to do on a daily basis doesn't seem such a chore.

Mine's the opposite. I wrote loads when furloughed (60k between April and June last year) but barely anything since ,while at home two days a week. I have a part time evening/saturday job as well as the 8-5, so maybe it's just that.
