I hear you. London is completely out of my comfort zone. I was walking to Westminster yesterday and a double decker bus driver and a man in the car behind him started having a go at each whilst they were waiting for the traffic lights to change. the bus driver had several people on his bus and they both head up the traffic behind. Crazy people, crazy times...
Lincoln, inner city anyway, is more East Midlands than Yorkshire but not that far away. Yes the jobs are lacking, as most places I guess and to be honest I think if you visited Lincoln now I dont think you would like what you see. I walked down the High Street the other say and almost got elbowed in the face by two men punching each other grrr silly boys. But the actual place with the castle and cathedral is stunning, and I am actually basing a story here because of the architecture. so beautiful, pity about some of the people though lol
I'm a shire man but I've not been back in a few years. I just got back from three years travelling and was actually going to return but ended up staying in London. I miss Lincoln though. New Years Eve is so special in the town, up around the cathedral. Last time I was there for that particular date people were lighting Sky Lanterns around the cathedral and they just floated high up and across the town. Lincolnshire is a great place but sadly the jobs are lacking so London called me. How about you? You're in Yorkshire now, right?
