Paragraphs

Do you prefer "tabbing" your paragraphs or just the new-school way of starting paragraphs?

Which according to you, is better?

Of course I should add that doesn't mean don't indent the first line, but do it from the paragraph option and not through all the tabbing (then then needs removing)

If your finished manuscript is going to be published it will need to be formatted to the 'house style', believe me it's far easier for an editor to work if the doc is 'clean', ie no tabs, no lines between paragraphs...

... she says having learnt the hard way ;)

I tab, but I change the measurment that it tabs by. It easy to do. Just click on 'view' and then tick 'ruler' and then slide the little arrow to the measurement you need. I use 0.5.

I hope this helped.
