Self publishing

Dear all,

I've decided to go self publishing on my first novel Jacob Jones. (MAD or what)

I have a short promotional video promoting the book coming soon and I wondered if you would please give me your input... for all those that don't know, Jacob Jones is a children's fantasy novel.

If you like it feel free to add it to your Facebook friends that would be much appreciated. wouldn't have got this far without everybody help from this site so thank you all.

Jonathan,

The next video will have some blurb and a release date and the 3rd will have out now and links to buy. Thanks for tips.

Regards

Damien

Excellent. Just tweeted it out into the universe. Good luck with this.

The trailer is very professional and has a great hook.

I'll stay clear of mirrors today :)

On a secondary note, I assume you'll replace this once the book is released?

Then might be a good time to add bits of blurb as Sonya suggested. That'll probably make the clip slightly longer but I don't see any problem with that as long as it doesn't go on and on, telling the whole story, which a lot seem to. There's no need, IMO around a minute is plenty of time to get potential readers' attention and the last thing you want is to bore them.

And once you're published don't forget to add buying links before the credits - might as well try to get a few sales from all that effort!

Good luck!
