Too young to write?

Do you think that age matters with regards to getting published? I'm seventeen years old and I've been seriously writing since 2009. I'm completely certain that writing is my forte, but I'd really an opinion on this.

thanks

No. You are not too young to write.

If you can tell a good story that takes your reader on a journey and captivate them then they will not care how old/young you are and nor will an agent or publisher.

Christopher Paolini had Eragon re-published by Alfred A. Knopf when he was 20.

If it is your passion, go for it. I'm 26 on my next birthday and I only wish I had begun my writing earlier.

I wish you all the best.
