Page proofs
A set of proofs of the pages in a book used to check the accuracy of typesetting and page layout, and also as an advance promotional tool. These are commonly provided in electronic form, rather than in physical form.
Paper engineering
The mechanics of creating novelty books and pop-ups.
Paperback
A book bound with a flexible paper or card covering.
Participle
Non-finite form of a verb that is used to form compound tenses and also functions as other parts of speech. English verbs have a present participle (ending in -ing), and a past participle (ending in -ed, except in irregular verbs).

Passive voice
Feature of a verb when the subject of the sentence is the recipient of the action of the verb, as in the sentence, The house was destroyed by the storm.
