Beauty Of The Night Sky- Poem

Like a boat at port I sit still on fresh grass as green as glistening emeralds. Looking up at the wide night sky, shooting stars pass idly by. Across the moon an orb of silver light which ignites and radiates upon the darkened night. Through a cylindrical shaped telescope I can see mercury and mars, with my eagle eyes I spectate avidly and inquisitively at the vastness of reality.  I yawn like a lion slowly laying my head, I instantly acknowledge that I'd never erase those stars out of my memory. Like a photograph I will always have recollection of that sight and the beauty of the night.
