Ok I am working on Character descriptions for a script that has come to mind. I half finished one of the characters. She is not the main character. But she does have a major influence in the story.

Im just looking on help on how to develope a character. Once I have fully developed characters, I'm hoping it will help me better to write my script.

In my story there are beings called Jinalee. Not Aliens, but they have walked on earth much longer than Humans and remained hidden since humans started taking over their lands.

***********************************************************************************

Ruby Khan

Age: 23

Hair Colour: Natural Brunette but with hair dyed a plum colour

Eye Colour: Brown

Location of Residence: London, England

She is a Halfblood. Daughter to a human mother and a Jinalee Water Warrior.

Ruby is a fun young girl. She is bright and loves having a laugh. When she is kidnapped, she does her best to protect the group from the kidnappers, even though she is powerless against them. Her priority is to keep the younger ones out of harms way, a notion shared by Jamie, Sam and Mace (The other main characters). She is the maternal figure of the group. When the truth about their 'destiny' is revealed. Ruby fights to allow the children safety. The four of them can manage the war without them. Her words are stronger than her beliefs but Ruby is a passionate individual who hides her feelings for the protection of others. She is the bond of the four saviours. When her abilities come to light, she is a shah(controller) of water. As the child of a Water Warrior Jinalee. when she comes face to face with her Birth father, she shows her loyalty to Jamie and her human race and kills him without a moments hesitation.

Personality: She is fun loving with a joking mind. She deals with serious situations by humour which has often gotten her in trouble. Ruby is a maternal being, having grown up looking after younger siblings, her work continues when she looks after the captive children.

Look: Ruby has plum coloured hair, though the dark roots are making their way through. She has tanned olive skin and a tattoo on her neck of a burning phoenix. She has her left ear pierced at the top and both ears peirced. Her nose is pierced with a hoop. Her eyes are always thick with eyeliner.

I plan too. But I will work on her backstory a little more. Thank you for your input!

This sounds interesting. I don't think you need any help here, as you seem to have covered everything. One of the main things in character developement is to create a backstory for all the main characters. With Ruby, that would be her relationship with her birth father. But why would she hate him enough to kill him? I assume you explain this in the script.
