Go Frugal Yourself

I have a little Sex and The City thing going on, my 3 friends and I meet up regularly for dinner and drinks, where like the series we talk about anything and everything. One of my friends, who is somewhere between Carrie and Charlotte, tells us one dinner ‘we are really living on the bread-line not sure I can come out, next month’. Poor thing? No, look down and you will see a pot of £80 Eve Lom cleanser in her bag, by her ankles.

Another of my beautiful friends, forever dreaming of owning her own home, her husband, has no money to save for a deposit and frequently misses her birthday, and yet he can go to the pub every weekend and spend whole days there….the list goes on!

Until you have been homeless or literally living on the bread-line you do not know poverty, but what you do know are the temptations of modern day living. Instead of going completely nuts at my friends I decided to write this book. This book is a working guide to living a F.R.U.G.A.L. life. Unlike most books I have read out there, this book doesn’t have outrageous suggestions, like ‘don’t shop make your whole life’, when people like me can’t sew or knit or grow plants to save our life! This book asks you questions so you can challenge yourself and work out feasible solutions for yourself.

The following chapters have been devised to cover all aspects of life...
