I See Her

by Jane King
17th May 2016

I see her in Orion,

Engulfed in stardust,

Swirling in clouds of blue and pink.

She is riding beasts of light in the groaning Universe,

Ever in motion;

She is as she was in life,

Forceful and bright,

Forever on the move;

I see her as a blue wildebeest,

On African woodlands,

Her silhouette playing against a sea of setting sunlight,

She is proud and regal.

She owns the day and the night.
