In a nutshell

Poem no 3) Written by Sarah Morris 09/02/2021 Who is Our Creator?

I wonder why he chose me, or should I say she?

Looking up at the sky by day and by night, it takes my breath away – The expanse of it all, what a wonderful sight.

We really are insignificant in the great scheme of things – This world – The universe and may I say the paranormal things.

The vastness and limitless space - I do really wonder who our creator is…. Are we made from star dust and the perfect chemistry, that happened to crash and bang down to earth all those millennia ago?

Was we walking with dinosaurs, somehow, I think we will never really know…and does it really matter anyway…..

Look at us now in 2021 the dinosaurs are long gone, and now so many of us occupy this wonderous and beautiful place we call home.

I bet we ‘all’ look up at the sky at times, I mean you and I and wonder who is our creator?

Maybe there is a God, or even an E.T, that can travel through space and time, watching us through a microscope or a space TV, seeing how we behave and how we cope.

What would they think of our human behaviour? I mean our egos and selfish destruction, sugar coated in love and affection?

Why am I here, why did you choose me? What good can I do on earth, so hostile and riddled with hate?

Life is for sharing and caring, but some never learned that....straight!

There is plenty of earth for you and me, for our creator whom ever that maybe, put us here for a reason it must be our destiny…

I think it was to look out for each other and live for a good reason. Mistakes we make along the way building our characters, that we should always take away.

Can’t we be more grateful and equal you and I? Life shouldn’t be about colour or race, or how much money I can rub in your face!

If I were the creator of me, I would want the best for others to see, love and warmth, with a spiritual glow.

Not being hateful and greedy to others and dictating to our mothers and fathers.

Life is full of more questions than answers, so until I meet my maker, I will just interpret the answers, as I see fit and feel every day, love, and share as much you can, make friends and family count, don’t leave anybody out.

Don’t hate because of someone’s colour or culture, embrace, and make new history full of humble endeavours.

We have a bright and beautiful future, you, and me, let us be creators of that, for all to see.
