SYNOPSIS:
Practicing piano the child experiences a vision, swiftly transporting her into a flying tourist–to higher dimensions of reality. She begins to hear voices and to see etherial visions which move her ever forward on a mystical odyssey she can share with no one. Bizarre, disappearing guests appear; beautiful birds with human faces follow. A book mysteriously appears at her bedside which she takes as a pivotal, signet sign of spiritual transformation. Gripped by an obsessive quest for truth underlying numerous otherworldly "postcards from the edge"– through Yoga meditation she makes the final approach, discovering the voice which has followed her for decades is that of her spiritual Preceptor, guiding her through initiations in the ancient Eastern wisdom traditions of India and Tibet.
