Supercorn the Unicorn

Supercorn the Unicorn

Supercorn the Unicorn was brilliantly brave,

She would soar through the skies on a mission to save!

Not only could she fly, she was magical too.

Anyone in need, she’d be there to rescue.

Her glittering horn was like an antenna,

Flashing, beaming, alerting her when a...

DISASTER, CRISIS or CATASTROPHE would strike

So Supercorn could be there- daytime or night.

Like many superheroes, Supercorn had a cape,

A leotard, a belt and a badge in the shape

Of an ‘S’ to express her Supercorn powers

So any villain who spied her would tremble and cower.

Although on the outside she looked just the same

Supercorn wasn’t interested in gratitude or fame.

Wanting simply to help those unicorns in doubt

She would show each one how to sort themselves out.

Whenever Supercorn’s horn beamed so bright,

She would flap her wings with all of her might.

She’d soar through the clouds with no time to waste,

Her cape flapping behind her in all of her haste.

A distinct flash of red shooting fast through the blue,

Supercorn arrived just in time to rescue

The unicorn in distress, desperate for help,

Crying out to be saved with a shriek or a yelp.

Just recently Supercorn was called out to save

A fellow unicorn who wasn’t feeling too brave...

Poor Blunicorn was trapped by a monster so scary

It was the size of a bull and ever so hairy!

Great tufts of fur stood up on its back

Blunicorn was terrified it was going to attack!

But in the swish of a tail Supercorn appeared,

Reminding Blunicorn that there was nothing to fear.

He reared up and galloped straight at the monster

With Supercorn there he found the courage to conquer.

“Thank you Supercorn!” Blunicorn cried

As he galloped away feeling triumphant inside.

Then just last week, Moonicorn needed some aid.

She got lost in the woods and was feeling afraid.

Darkness had set in and she had gotten quite lost.

Shivering with cold, her mane was covered in frost.

Supercorn to the rescue! She shot to the scene,

Reassuring Moonicorn that they’d work as a team.

Using starlight to guide them, they found their way home

They did it together, as a pair, not alone.

“Thank you Supercorn!” Moonicorn cried

As she arrived home safely, feeling triumphant inside.

Only this morning Supercorn was alerted

To help Musicorn because she was feeling deserted.

The problem was clear; Supercorn knew what to do.

She could set this right in a click of her shoes.

Musicorn was so lonely as all of her mates

Had galloped off out to play but she was too late.

Supercorn sympathised, convincing her that

Her friends really missed her and wanted her back.

Musicorn changed her tune and ran off to join in.

She had suddenly found the courage from within.

Musicorn played and played for the rest of the day,

So happy to feel wanted, she sang and she neighed.

“Thank you Supercorn!” Musicorn cried

As she cantered around, feeling triumphant inside.

Supercorn helped many, many unicorns all year

To find a solution and overcome their fear.

So next time you’re stuck or in need of a hand,

Think carefully, be calm and just make a plan.
