Trinidad Folklores is a series of short horror and superstitious stories that tells of of the many legends and beliefs in Trinidad & Tobago. There are stories like the Douens, the Soucouyant, the Lagahoo, Mama Glow, Papa Bois, La Diablesse, JUmbies and so on. There are other versions of these stories by other local writer's but this is my version. I hoped that you can enjoy it.

Papa Bois is a forest creature who resembles a faun. But he has special powers in which he can transform into other wild animals of the forest. If a hunter comes by and he kills an innocent animal just for sport and not for food, Papa Bois will seek his revenge and transform into an animal and leads the hunter far away until he's lost and then leave him to be killed some dangerous wild animal. He's also known as the protector of the forest and all wild creatures in the forest.

La Diablesse is a very gorgeous woman who loves to crash parties in local villages. She's attracted by many men but she's totally despised by the village women. She will lure an unsuspecting man into the forest until he's totally lost. Then he might get killed by either a wild animal or he falls into a river and drowns to his death. The woman is described as a very gorgeous and one of her foot is a animal hoof. Plus she wears a large brim hat over her face.

These are a few examples of stories to be found in Trinidad Folklores. As you read more, you will find more interesting stories that you will love.
