Wander down this lonely road.

As I wander down this lonely road,

I see some people come and go.

But the path they lead I do not know;

some paths disconnect and others sewn.

In the path of life I have flown mighty high

But have crashed and burned -

it could by my ending nigh.

Maybe I'll see you as our paths collide.

But it's up to you if you want to stay by my side.

But if you choose to say no,

I'll have to be taking this road alone.

Will I ask you again in later years?

I think by then I might disappear.

So I go on this lonely road

I will have to walk alone,

Make up my own show

And see if I get to the end of that road.
