Riding like the wind

I have written a book entitled - Riding like the wind, It is my first book and I am trying to publish it. 

Here is the description of the book: 

Claire and Euan, both exceptionally driven and talented, but from worlds apart, are brought together through a shared passion for horse riding. Meeting by chance with few cares in the world and much less prejudice than many of their peers, they fall in love at first sight, to tackle challenges of the highest order. Internationally acclaimed from her exemplary tracing across the globe, spearheading the purchase of extraordinary and refined fabrics from distant lands, to help her luxury clothing brand stay Number One. At the top of her game, with the world at her feet and everyone looking up to her for inspiration, and a piece of her fame and fortune. Born to wealthy Lords and Ladies, living in the grandest of stately homes, among opulence and splendour, within palaces of the rich and famous. And gardens of breath taking beauty and majesty, with blumes so varied, ornate and luxurious as to adorn the finest garment. 

Now at the tender age of thirty two, Claire has everything she has ever wanted, living the dream for all to see. With an expansive chocolate box thatched cottage set in stunning surroundings, high-end sports cars, and a Caribbean villa on her own secluded island with a luxury yacht moored nearby. But despite all these trappings, desperately alone. 

Horse riding is her only passion, far removed from her fast living and glamourous life. Riding like the wind and letting all her worries vanish in the haze as she gallops across moors and meadows. Leaving her toil and treasures as distant memories, transporting her to being a girl once more, fully alive with her beloved horse. 

A PRIZE JOCKEY IN THE MAKING: Euan, just nineteen is already an amazing jockey, stunning the world with his brilliance and gearing himself up for the greatest challenge of his life, to fight for Olympic Gold. He is slight and unassuming, yet ever determined to win his prize at all costs. Living on a shoestring, but somehow getting by. Eking out a living with extra work tutoring at a riding school, whilst training hard in every other moment. 

Born into abject poverty within the Glasgow slums, to a family who could barely rub two half pennies together. Crammed with his four siblings into a tiny, dilapidated, terrace house in the roughest neighbourhood, where you had to fight to survive. Mustering his strength from the depth of his being, he discovers his will to leave his downtrodden past and strive for a better live elsewhere. Giving up all he has know and has loved, to move to foreign shores, among people so different in culture and understanding, simply to live for riding. Humble and reserved, yet with a stoic determination to change into the man he knows he could be. Challenged against all obstacles, that could block or break him at every turn, yet used to mould him into one of the best, refined athletes his sport has ever known. Forging a life amongst the elite and fighting for survival amongst the rich and famous, far from home and all his friends. 

THEIR PASSION FOR RIDING: This is the story of their passion for riding, their meeting, and discovering the inner strength and depth of talent, but most of all their friendship surpassing anything they have ever known, shaking the very core of their foundations. A friendship so deep as to be the catalyst for change from their extraordinary talents and expertise, into a unifying force to take on the world. 

First it is mere physical attraction and raw talent that draws them like nectar to seek out and connect with the other. But soon they fall in love with their souls within. Just as the once rigid, unshakable lines of a battle- hardened Claire, soften, as layer upon layer of her carefully crafted masks are peeled away, through the care and love of a perfect mate. Revealing her warm yet vulnerable self, laying deep within. 

No matter the odds and hurdles they must cross, love wins through and conquers all. Their support for each other and those around them touches lives far beyond their village streets and the stables they love so dear. Impacting a whole community of riders, of all abilities, for years to come. 

And when the almost inevitable tragedy strikes, who should come to Claire's aid, but a host of friends and acquaintances who have been touched in so many different ways by her immense generosity to their lives, or the lives of people close to them. All they can do is be at her side, to help her in her hours of need, as she was in theirs.
