Hello everyone, how are you all doing?
I need help with something. I'm brazilian, but I've been living in England for four years now.
I just finished writing my first novel and I wrote it in english, but, because english is not my mother tongue, there is some errors with the grammar, so I kind of need help with that.
Does someone know someone that could help me with that? To make some corrections on the grammar?
Thank you all in advance.

Hi Andre,
Harry is right that you'd likely be in need of a proofreader to read your manuscript and correct grammar and spelling. While we offer editing services on our website, this is mainly around structural editing, not proofreading. You can have a look for proofreaders on the Chartered Institute for Editors and Proofreaders website.

However, depending on the word count of your manuscript a professional proofreader might cost you more than £100. It's always worth seeing if there are any local writing groups near you or online writing groups where you can establish connections and perhaps share your work with them? While we say that professional editors should always be paid for their time, it is their livelihood after all, you might find that fellow writers could be interested in reading your work and helping you out with any grammar issues. How long is your manuscript?
You mean you need an editor or proof reader. What is your budget?
I don't know... maybe 100? I'm very new to all of this. How much these things cost?
