Is advertising allowed?

I have just taken a look at Jony Show's profile and it is clearly an advertisement yet it is still there.

Well - so it is!!

I wouldn't worry too much. Would you buy a service from someone resorting to subterfuge to advertise it? No, I bet, and neither would I. Whoever it is obviously has no idea there are real writers on this site who aren't too embarrassed, despite the natural reticence of most, to poke their faces above the parapet. The first rule of promotion is 'show people who you are'.

He or she will buzz off once no flush of enthusiastic response ensues :)
