Building the Creative You: Firing Up Your Brain’s Creative Furnaces

11th November 2024 7:00pm to 8:00pm, Online

Do you want to fire up your brain’s creative furnaces?

In this session with Andrew Wright from Action Your Potential, he’ll delve into neuroscience to explain how creativity is built in the brain. Andrew will explain how your creative brain is supported and nurtured by your daily behaviours, and what we, as writers and illustrators, can do to keep our brains well looked after and to stay inspired.

This masterclass will take place online via Zoom. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks after the event has taken place.

In addition to the masterclass, each participant will receive a 30-minute one-to-one online coaching session with an Action Your Potential coach. You'll also be given free access to an app which will help you manage your well-being each day.

This session has been designed for writers and illustrators, and can be attended as a stand-alone event or as part of our wider ‘Building the Creative You’ course. This is a series of four sessions (RRP £300) that aim to help you build the creative you everyday. Attendees will learn of ways to improve creativity and mental health by building powerful daily habits and goals that unleash the incredible power of your amazing brain. The course will focus on providing tools to help overcome writer's block and a lack of inspiration, to tackle anxiety and rejection, and to create the right conditions for creativity to flourish.
