My only concern about the reading requests is that people visiting the site for the first time might see a list of reading requests instead of the questions the board is designed for. Can I suggest people tag their reading requests onto the end of a question? That way the questions that keep the the conversation going are always visible on the front page but people are still able to make reading requests.
Of course, it's entirely up to you. I have no intention of policing reading requests but hope everyone wants to keep the main board fresh with new questions to draw in more and more writers. What do you think?
I think that sounds good Victoria, I will do that from now on. I also agree with Adrian though.
I can understand the Admins not wanting to create too many forums, but I think a Shared Work forum, and a Competition forum would solve both problems.
