All right or alright?

Just a grammar question, tried to google it but can't get onto google...I think either is okay but would like some clarification.

Thank you for that! Yes, americanisations can be annoying...realise...realize...I keep changing my default dictionary but it just comes back as English US...

Thanks again..I think I'll use 'all right' I prefer it.

I may be wrong, but I think 'ALRIGHT' is the Americanised version of 'ALL RIGHT' that, like many other Americanisations, has become quite acceptable in the UK too. So yes, in my view, either is acceptable.

I used to post work on an American site and I got sick of explaining that I had not spelt COLOUR wrong.
