All is in the title

Hello,

Do you have a method or some trick to find a title to a novel (or short story) when inspiration don't come, and by the way, what's your novel's favourite title or the one you found the most ingenious ?

My titles are usually metaphors. I turn a deeply held belief from one of the principal characters into a metaphor and use that. That's for my novels.

For short stories it tends to be simpler. Quite a lot of my short stories are named the thing I didn't have time to explain in the text. Others are just named something which relates to the theme of the story and therefore exentuates what I want the reader to take away with them.
