Firstly, a question for artists (if there are any on here) - have you or do you use an artist agent?
So far I've got all my cover design/illustration work through contact with writers, indie publishers or word of mouth. I'm wondering if it may be worth making the next step and getting an agent. Is it worth?
In turn, a question for Writers - how do you choose your cover artist? Would you be more inclined to use one via an agent? Or is it simply more important to find the right artist for your cover yourself, and work with them direct?
