I contacted Austin Macauley several months ago to ask some questions about publishing and editing my own content and was asked to send in several examples of my work. Just before I did that, I looked at reviews and found they are best avoided.
After that, I was hounded with emails every other week asking for my work, this went on for a few months before I replied explaining I had made other plans. The communications stopped sharp after that.
Hybrid contracts definitely aren't a bad thing, it's a model well worth looking into.
Austin Macauley however, are the worst thing. Stay as far away as possible.
