The best Grammar checker

I obviously am in great need of help with my grammar, so is there a good grammar checker out there, and which is the recommended one?

I am trying out Grammarly.

I seem to put a fair number of passive voices that apparently should be active.

When unwanted things were done to me, ie I was tortured by the doctor, or the doctor tortured me, how do I make that active?

I was not acting, I was being passive
