I have been a beta reader for my friend Debbie Ellen Carr who has been writing Balancing Syrestia, and have so far have enjoyed every minute of her books.

It got me thinking though that I would love ot become a beta reader for other authors too. So I was told to come on here and let you all know who I am.

p.s. From my perspective, I have chosen friends who have excellent grammar and spelling and a grip on punctuation. I think you have to be able to trust those skills in your beta. If you can't, then they won't spot your errors! And we all make them...

Paul - I didn't laugh. I had to Google beta reader :) ! It said it was a non-professional person who basically proofreads and checks for continuity errors etc.

It is exactly what two close but honest friends are going to be for me. I can see the benefit of having a person who isn't close to you doing it though, and I think it's very kind of Sarah to offer.

I think you'll be very busy, Sarah! I hope you find the next big thing! :)

Hi Sarah, I somehow deleted you from my list after we had connected, I pressed a delete button in another window and you disappeared instead. don't think I would make a hit man all the wrong people would get it... anyway I have pressed the connect button again and hope you will reconnect with me. Thanks Sarah. Regards Paul.
