Is bullying at Uni common? I hadn't thought so... yet two very vindictive people are following me around, sending abusive messages on facebook and to my phone all because of....???? No idea...If I had to guess, I'd say it's because an agent approached me... I suppose, does anyone else have this problem? You achieve something, or win an award with writing and suddenly you are being mobbed?
I was bullied at school, and for so many reasons, but never for winning awards. It went away as I learnt to intergrate with people better and stand up for myself, either personally, or by reporting to the teachers what was happening. It all gets much better at 16 though :)
Bullies are just people who are deflecting what is wrong and lacking in their lives by focusing on what is good in yours. Tell them firmly that their comments will not tolerated and if they do not stop then you will take action. Report them to facebook and the authorities at the uni. Good luck
I did not get this at uni, but I would report them. It was in my university handbook that they will not tollerate bullying. Hopefully your university would have issued you with something similar.
