I was wondering if you were to right a car crash (as one appears in the begining of my book) how would you put it down into words?
I suspect that's one of those 'how long is a piece of string' questions. The scene will be totally individual to your story & characters. I've only once written a crash into a short story (based on a true event) and it was entirely as experienced by the main character, who suffered brain damage as a result of their injuries.
