Hi Kim, like most of the answers, I like a chapter and I agree with Jimmy and Lorraine, it gives you a point to aim for before sleep. (So now everyone knows when I read!)
Having said that I recently read a book without chapters and it worked, but it was a good read even though I can't remember the title, hey ho age.
One thing I have done, I am sure I can't be the first to do this although, I haven't come across it yet. I have split one or two chapters into "part one and part two" it seems to work, at least no one has said what on earth is that about.
It is as said, entirely up to you until a publisher gets their hands on it. I have decided that should I be lucky enough to ever get published I will be saying... "Yes I think you are right, it will work better that way, and by the way do you need a foot-rub?" but that's me.
I hope you get it right and it works well for you, good luck
Hi Paul,
Thank you for your advice and review, it's always appreciated. I'm not really sure how to break it up info chapters, guess that's the problem.
