I am starting a new book - the idea is below.... I would like your comments
A teenager’s fantasising, his fleeting imagination , transient infatuations, mounting curiosity, fugacious physical and mental changes, various heart throbbing experiences that every teenager goes through, the shaping of a character – all of these penned down by a teenage boy from when he was 13 till he reached the ripe age of 17.

It definitely interesting, and sounds like something I would read.. :)
It sounds like it will be a fun write and a fun read but it depends on what your plan for the novel is.
I think with Sue Townsends' recent death there will be a fair few people harking back to Adrian Mole and you might find the market flooded in a year or two.
