Hi All,

I thought it would be a fun idea to start a community writing project here in the forum. All you have to do is think of the next sentence to follow the story. It can be any length of a sentence and can take any genre you like.

I'll start.

On a cold and windy evening the owl perched on the branch was his only friend.

So the old three headed Hecate was on the loose.

Thank you for that update Mr Woodmouse

Go and fetch the Lady Lylona I will need her assistance.

As I certainly will have to cross over to bring back these pathetic humans.

The human souls 'crossed over' to the animal world where they would forever be a Field Rat and a Mongoose. Now Hecate could concentrate on her task. Blakfur!

Hecate broke an agreement of old by seeking out Blakfur. A peace treaty that held back a terrible war just waiting to happen, and now the future became uncertain for all. Hecate knew this, the goddess was not unaware of the consequences of her actions, but she could not stand idle. She had to intervene, no matter the risk.

"Please," the farmer whimpered, "I don't understand what is going on, me and my wife don't want any trouble."

"It matters not if you understand, but that you've seen," Hecate replied.

With a wave of her hand, Hecate forced the humans' soul to crossover to the other side, leaving behind their cold empty shells.

(My apologies for adding a “larger” than usual piece, I just couldn’t resist) :D
