Community writing game

Hi All,

 

I thought it would be a fun idea to start a community writing project here in the forum. All you have to do is think of the next sentence to follow the story. It can be any length of a sentence and can take any genre you like.

 

I'll start.

On a cold and windy evening the owl perched on the branch was his only friend.

The Owl nodded. It understood Lerajie's every word. Wings outstretched, eyes glistening in the moonlight. Launching itself into the purple sky to spread the word that Lerajie was coming.

"I will see you at the Dawn my friend." whispered Lerajie.

Lerajie, dressed in a tunic of green and leggings if white, strapped his quiver of arrows over his shoulder and lifted an arm for the Owl to land upon.

"Owl, my friend and silent sister of the Goddess Hecate, tonight we decide who rules the Enchanted forest. Though she is my mother, I can not let her destroy Blakfur. Send this message, Owl, tell her not to hate me, for tonight, I will oppose her."
