Copyrighting

Hi all! I want to copyright my latest piece of work once I've fully edited it (the start of which can be found on here - all feedback is gratefully accepted!) But I don't know how to go about doing it. Any ways this is possible with little/no money?

Thank you in advance!

I guess you could use a memory stick rather than a CD?

Thank you both! How would I put it on a CD Adrian? Sorry I'm not very technical haha! I didn't know that Simon but that is brilliant! I'll have a look for the links now :) I can't express how much I appreciate this!

The cheapest form of copyright is to send yourself a Registered Letter with a Cd of your work inside. The letter is date stamped across the seal, plus you have the receipt from the Post Office. As long as the seal remains unbroken your copyright is safe.

When your manuscript is ready to submit, you could send copies of it on Cd's to family or friends as a safeguard.
