Are there any groups on here for critiquing? I have now finished my novel, so I am now looking for just a small group of people who could help me be giving me honest feedback to push my book to submission level, while hopefully helping them with their work too. My book is a YA fantasy book. x
Emma, would it work if you posted on this site and made some requisites clear before the excerpt, as in age group of reviewers, kind of feedback? I am sure that will work. I for one would love to help, but am really struggling with the edits right now and an influx of guests and my other job.

Gayle I have joined a local writing group and they are all lovely, a collection of very interesting people, but unfortunately most of them are not really in the age range my book is directed at, so i feel unable to push my book onto them. Your best option would be to join a local writers group. I'm a member of a writers group in Hertfordshire. It's really great. Every week we critique someone's work and sometimes we do writing exercises. I have found it very useful and motivating.
