What are your thoughts about having chunks of dialogue at one time?

Thanks Adrian, I guess I'll go through it in more detail when I edit.

Dialogue and streams-of-thought are difficult skills to master properly.

Dialogue is unlike everyday speech, it usually consists of blunt sentences without superfluous words and irrelevant talk.

It's advisable to restrict speakers to one, two or three sentences, unless it's necessary for them to ramble on.

Dialogue must advance the plot and storyline.

Thanks Lorraine, that's helpful.

I only ask as I was writing a scene between 2 people, but only one person was doing most of the talking with breaks in between to show the other persons reactions.
