I've just ordered ten copies of a book I made to give to friends and relatives for Christmas.
It's a Homesteading Diary and published on Blurb - so some of it is very specific to running this place, but it's very pretty and I love the animated apple tree. I hope that people will find it useful as a diary or notebook - even if the weekly list of domestic tasks will be mostly things they don't need to do.

I like getting books for christmas and birthday...but I darent' buy them for other people! There are some people it is easy to buy books for but for most people I really am not brave enough! What if they don't like them?!? :) No. It's too scary!!
I hardly ever buy books because people know what they are before they've opened them which takes the fun out of it. My family must feel the same because I think the last book I got for Christmas was when I was seven.
Tell a lie, I think I got a Patrick Moore book on the stars 15 years ago!
