I find poetry inspiring. Who are your favourite poets?

I think i've got a similar taste as you with poetry, Adrian.

Those are my favourite poets as well, though I admit, I don't understand every poem at first glance. Also, it may be because these are the recomended poets in our sylubus for English...

That poem, Poetry... It's beautiful. you've captured the essence of poetry: "A sip of Nectar"

The drink of the gods indeed :-)

I’m a member of a poetry site and I read other members’ poems there in order to comment and, in turn, to receive comments on my own poetry. Lately, due to work pressure, I haven’t had enough time to participate fully online, plus I’m writing at weekends for my folk group.

As far as favourites are concerned, I don’t know yet! I remember reading an assortment through school, but the urge to write is so strong that it overcomes both revisiting those poets and discovering new ones. That said, thanks for the recommendations, Adrian. I know I need to start reading at some point, so at least I’ll know where to begin! F.
