Forum features: show more than 5 comments per thread?

Hi guys,

I posted a quick feature request on the 'site update' thread by Stephen Elliott.

My request was that we have more than 5 comments to a thread show on the page as I feel that for long threads it will save us some clicking.

I suggested 15, and Stephen says it is quite an easy change, but would depend on what the users think.

So what do you all think? would 15 comments be good? You can also tell me to go-away if you wish :)

Yes more comments (10 -15) would be good. On some sites there is also an option to show all. Just press the button and scroll all the comments on one page. I use this function frequently (more convenient that tabbing through pages and pages of comments).

Ten's fine with me. Fifteen would mean the page would take much longer to load, wouldn't it? Not important to most of us but probably irritating on a smart phone.

If it's an easy alteration it'd be daft not to. Ten comments would be fine, IMHO, but fifteen's better.
