Game Of Thrones?

Just out of curiosity, how many of you have read/watched The Game Of Thrones?

I believe there is a great amount people can learn from George R.R Martin's genius work. I just finished the first 2 seasons, and I found it to be amazing, morally ambiguous, dark, powerful and unrelenting. If you haven't seen it I suggest you do, there is good world building at work with a tremendously good narrative and plot.

I read an extract from one book and wasn't overly impressed with the standard of writing.

The TV series is great, however, and if they're keeping to the books there are no complaints about plot twists - you never know who's going to die horribly next!

I've heard of G R R Martin and Game of Thrones, but I rarely watch television on my laptop. It's as blessing not owning a television.

I am also a fan. Something I like is the fact that the writer(s) are unafraid of killing off what the audience might consider a vital character
