It takes a while to accept that this happens a lot, but when you do accept it, it's easier to take a step back, look constructively at what you've done so far and make honest decisions about how the work can be improved.
Thanks Lorraine, this is true we can write and write and then learn what works and what doesn't, so it's never wasted. If a line or paragraph doesn't feel right I take it out, my inner voice is loud and clear! You've been very helpful :)
