I have a true story which I written which I hoping to have published never done this before can anyone help me two publishers wanted to print it at a very large cost I understand that nothing is free, thank you 😊

Don't pay for your work to be published. There are lots of online forums where you can publish excerpts of your work and get comments for free. That's where I would start. Also, you may have a very interesting story, but unless it is written well it won't be read by a wide audience. Maybe a writing course would be helpful, although these aren't free, many new writers find them helpful. My more recent writing career began with writing letters to a local free newspaper! Small steps are best.Good luck and keep writing.
